Soccer Anyone?

This article is somewhat off-topic, but morbidly fascinating. Over the New Year's holiday, among the many murders in Juarez, what is developing into the next front on the war against terror, a man's body was found. This man was found, his body cut into seven pieces, and his face removed and stitched onto a soccer ball. This ball was found near the City Hall. The event was most likely done while he was STILL ALIVE.

A creepier demise could not be thought up by Hitchcock.

A very macabre beginning to the new year for us in living in border regions. We can only hope the US does not see more of this violence spill across. Much of it already has, but it is conveniently ignored by the mass media and is seen as being a strictly Mexican problem.

I Find This Somewhat Interesting...

A seven year old boy stowed away on a train, riding 52 miles on the coupling between the railcars. Meanwhile, his parents and police were conducting a manhunt for the missing child. It seems he really, really, liked trains and decided to ride one.

It also seems before he liked trains, he really, really, liked TORNADOS!

WTF?

I am glad he didn't decide to hitch a ride on one of them.

Chinese Woman Boils Man's Head to Cure Psychiatric Problem

A woman in Sichuan beheaded a 76 year old man, beheaded him, and boiled his head for soup to serve her daughter in order to cure her mental problems. The soup was served to her daughter with duck. MMMGood!
